The 2nd day we decided to drive through part of the Blue Ridge Parkway instead of boring interstate. The kids were not thrilled because they were ready to get to MD and it did add hours onto our time but in the end we found some really neat places to stop and great views.
Then FINALLY we made it to MD and to our friends’ house…games,margaritas, night swimming and s’mores awaited!
