Not sure my life can get any crazier and then it does! January was the peak of basketball season with all the boys playing and games 4 nights a week…add church to that as well as Ryan’s new acting class on Wednesdays and we were gone every day of the week. Then the kitty got sick and I had to give her a pill and a SHOT TWICE a day. I don’t get a flu shot or even look at the needle when I (or my kids) have to get a shot and I had to GIVE shots! I was not very good at it at times but she got better. Giving her a pill was just as bad. I have no problem with dogs, they just gulp down anything wrapped in cheese. This cat could move her tongue back to cover her throat and could spit out the pill later! She is back to her old self—waking me up at 6am with a toy. Work is just as crazy. I am getting new kids right and left and my preschool class is doubling in size. I am still teaching at both schools but hope to have 2 preschool classes soon. Most kids are autistic and/or have little or no language.
I am hoping that February will slow down just a bit. Grant’s basketball is over but he has football and baseball workouts most days after school. Ryan’s basketball games finish this week. Preston’s B-team games will end soon but he might be moved up to the varsity for the area tournament…and he will have baseball workouts at well.
Later this month we will celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday. My brother and his girlfriend are coming from California for a few days to help celebrate.
We are now counting DOWN the weeks until Dennis comes home…Yeah! Then life will pick up again as we start on the dream house.
Here are a few pictures from January..and none of them have SNOW :(

As we sat at a red light one afternoon, we watched the sun set into the trees…it started whole and we saw it almost disappear before the light changed. When was the last time you sat and watched a sun set? We were in the car on the way to a ball game but we all sat and marveled at it’s beauty.
