After we left Waldorf, we headed across the Bay Bridge and into Eastern Maryland. We had never been this way and were surprised by all the farm land. Ryan wanted to go across the Chesapeake Bridge that goes under water so we headed to the VA section off Eastern MD.
I have always wanted to see a lighthouse and so we found out that there was one on Assateague Island off Chincoteague Island which is known for wild horses and ponies.
Hiking to the lighthouse, we were attacked by millions of mosquitoes!!!

I could not believe all the cars and people at this little beach!
