Change of Command

Dennis's change of command went off without a hitch. Really nice. He gave a really nice speech and people complimented him all afternoon. My parents were really impressed and enjoyed themselves. Later we loaded up the boat, and trucks with stuff from our old house and Carey's house. Then we all went out to eat. The kids were begging for one more sleep over. It was sad but cute. They all get along so well. Carey and I did well today...just a few tears:)
Tomorrow we will eat breakfast in the hotel, pick up the dogs and start driving. It will probably take us 14-16 hours.
Our stuff was delivered today. Dennis's mother handled it all and it went well. She said you could not see the walls for all the stuff! She also went to the back to school nights and saw the kids rooms, got schedules etc. Busy day for her. They start on Monday.
It should be a very busy week!
Goodbye to Maryland....hope I can make it over the bridge. Should be there by about 745-800 am.
