We celebrated my dad’s 70th birthday this weekend. He says he feels no different and that any birthday spent “above ground” is a good one. My brother and his girlfriend, Janet came from California for a few days. Thursday night we watched Preston and Grant play baseball and both won! Friday night –his actual birthday- we all went out to eat along with one of Frankie’s friends KK and his wife, Daria. We had a really nice meal and conversation. Then we all went back to my house and had cake, presents and more fun talking and visiting. I made a cake that looked like a golf course:
We got him tickets to an Auburn/Alabama baseball game next month and a few :) sunflower seeds for the season!
The next day we went to Auburn to see a basketball game….
