Ryan said, “mom you need to update the blog after my game last night”. So by special request….
Ryan played his first game last night. It was a crazy jamboree game with a set of rules I could not follow. We played with another team against 2 other teams. Our teams did not win but Ryan played a great game. After being very nervous and feeling unprepared, Ryan made 2 great tackles and had several good blocks. His name was called out over the PA system twice! He was very excited and proud. Even though he is a bit sore and tired, he is ready for the next real game! Good Job Ryan. A little nervousness is good…makes you pay attention!

A bit blurry but you can see Ryan’s helmet and arm around the runner—great tackle
Ryan and cousin Caleb on sidelines: Caleb hurt his shoulder and had to miss this game
Preston plays Friday and Ryan plays Saturday. Grant will dress out with the varsity and might play but his JV games start next month. We are waiting on Isaac now…not sure of his path yet.
